Your Treatment Journey:

1

Body Assessment
Appointment

Your consultation starts with some paperwork to help us understand your health status—nothing too daunting, we promise!

You’ll also fill out a detailed questionnaire so we can get the full picture. Then, the chiropractor will conduct a full-body assessment, starting with a thorough discussion about your health concerns and followed by a physical examination, including orthopaedic, neurological, and chiropractic tests, as well as a comprehensive digital posture scan. If needed, we’ll refer you for X-rays with a trusted external provider. All of this helps us create a personalised care plan tailored to your needs, which we’ll review together during your next visit.

2

Report of Findings
Appointment

During your Report of Findings visit, your chiropractor will thoroughly review the results of your assessment, explaining what they mean for your health and well-being. Based on these findings, they’ll outline a personalised care plan tailored to your specific needs, which may include a combination of chiropractic adjustments, tailored exercises, and practical lifestyle advice to support your recovery and long-term health goals.

This visit is also your opportunity to ask questions, share your thoughts, and ensure you feel confident about the proposed plan. Once everything is clear and agreed upon, you’ll receive your first adjustment as part of your care journey. We’re here to ensure you feel informed, supported, and ready to take the next step toward improved health.

Regular Adjustment Appointments

During a chiropractic adjustment, your chiropractor applies specialised techniques to address spinal misalignments, improve joint mobility, and relieve muscle tension. These adjustments are carefully tailored to your needs and may include hands-on spinal manipulations to realign the vertebrae, gentler methods suitable for more sensitive areas, and targeted therapies designed to enhance overall function and reduce discomfort. Each technique is chosen with your comfort and recovery in mind, ensuring a safe and effective treatment experience.

In addition to adjustments, we offer Shockwave Therapy as a separate treatment option for those looking to accelerate recovery. This advanced therapy promotes healing by stimulating circulation and reducing pain in affected areas, making it an excellent complement to chiropractic care.

Consultation and Examination Appointment

The initial phase of the consultation is an information gathering exercise, which will take about 15 minutes, before you see one of our chiropractors.

We will then discuss your medical history and current health with you before undertaking a physical examination which will include:

  • Digital postural analysis
  • Orthopaedic tests
  • Nerve tests
  • Muscle tests
  • Motion pattern tests
  • Chiropractic tests

MRI and X-ray images are seldom necessary but, if they are, we will refer you to a separate and independent imaging centre where they will charge you directly for this.

This thorough consultation and examination helps our chiropractors create a personalised care plan tailored to your needs, ensuring you receive the best possible care. Your individual care plan will be discussed at your next appointment, called th Report of Findings, where you can choose to begin treatment if appropriate.

Should you choose to start treatment after the Report of Findings, it will be charged at the current Chiropractic Adjustment rate.

Report of Findings Appointment

During a chiropractic Report of Findings visit, your chiropractor reviews the results of your
consultation and physical exams, to help the explain the probable causes of your symptoms.

They provide a customised care plan, which includes recommended adjustments, rehab exercises, and lifestyle changes. The chiropractor explains the anticipated benefits, such as reduced pain, improved mobility, and overall better well-being and possible risks.

They also select appropriate techniques to minimise any potential risks, like using gentler methods for conditions such as osteoporosis. Rehab exercises are often recommended to strengthen the muscles supporting your spine, helping to maintain the benefits of your
adjustments.

Additionally, the chiropractor may suggest lifestyle changes, such as posture improvements or ergonomic adjustments, to support long-term health.

This visit allows you to ask questions and understand how chiropractic care, combined with these additional strategies, can help you before your decide if you want to proceed to receive treatment which will be charged for at the current rate.

Regular Adjustment Appointments

During a chiropractic adjustment visit, the chiropractor has a choice of techniques to address spinal misalignments, muscle tension, and joint dysfunction. Each technique is tailored to your needs, ensuring safe and effective care during your visit.

The Diversified technique involves hands-on adjustments, which may produce a “cracking” sound, to restore proper movement to the spine and joints. For those needing a gentler approach, a small handheld instrument may be used to deliver precise, low-force adjustments.

The SOT (Sacro-Occipital Technique) focuses on balancing the connection between the sacrum and skull, helping with spinal alignment and nervous system function.

Trigger Point Therapy targets specific tight areas in muscles, providing relief from muscle knots and tension. The Drop technique uses a special table that gently drops during the adjustment, allowing for a lighter yet effective adjustment.

As an adjunct, Shockwave Therapy may be used to break down scar tissue and improve circulation to affected areas, promoting faster recovery. This is a separate appointment, charged at a higher rate.
